Located on the banks of the River Greta, the newly refurbished YHA Keswick offers striking views of Skiddaw and sits within easy walking distance of Keswick town centre and Derwentwater. The design focuses on creating a relaxed and sociable environment for guests, reflecting the adventurous spirit of the surrounding landscape.

Internally, the building has been carefully reconfigured and upgraded to provide a range of comfortable accommodation options alongside generous communal areas. A licensed bar and restaurant creates a lively social hub within the hostel, while a self-catering kitchen offers flexibility for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.

Designed with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the hostel also includes practical facilities such as secure bike storage, making it an ideal base for hikers, cyclists and visitors exploring the wider Lake District.

The refurbishment breathes new life into the existing building, delivering a modern and welcoming destination that supports YHA’s mission of making travel and adventure accessible to all.
